whoa-whoa!
So over the last four months, when i felt like i was living at the hospital. . . the spawn got all big.
This week, he's decided that he's pretty much through with the whole diaper scene. Which is good, cause we had planned to go out and buy another whopping crate of disposables in the next week or so (which we use -- i mean used -- at night). A mixed blessing really. Now we have to find bathrooms, and underwear, and all that big kid stuff.
He's slept in his own bed for two nights - and only come into our room after it's light.
We've been walking up to the hospitals together in the morning ever since my second year. We just sling him up in a backpack and take 20 minutes together -- no matter what the time or how cold it's been. Today we realized that he's fast and direct enough to walk with us instead of being carried. In fact he ran, the whole way, to the displeasure of our weary legs.

Somehow the green Tupperware makes it even more heartwarming... wow.. that must be nearly as old as us. It was great talking to you...its always a relief to find out that you are still you despite all the time we are apart. Good luck with the big kid. Shannon also wants to see you when you visit.
Yay, eggbowlhat!
OMG, how did I totally miss the ball pit picture in this post? I miss ball pits so much! Why don't they make ball pits for grownups? I would go all the time.
