I am so bloody glad for the extended queer kinship network that i/he/we are part of. -- Those with and those without specific role signifiers. It feels really wonderful to know that he has relationships with other grown ups who can tell stories about him with posessive pronouns: "my/our nephew/queerling/F1" "I remember when he was imagined/conceived/born/referring to himself as 'the lady on the teeter-totter'"
