cusps.
Sorry for the extended absence. I've been trying to figure out where and in what i want to do my residency next year, and trying not to post that on the internet. y'know, like people who don't want to lose their jobs try not to do.
Also, trying to get pregnant (IVI #8 for those keeping score at home). Another one of those things that people trying to get jobs try not to post.
But the rank order list deadline is in a day or so, and i am running a deficit in the give-a-crap department.
I have that day or so to decide with MamaM where we want to live next year. In the running, (and for the record, still tied), are Kingston, Toronto, and Montreal. And in a particularly cruel alignment of the stars, I am expecting the verdict for this ttc cycle in about the same amount of time.
I am happy to share the POAS results with all and sundry, I will not be sharing the details of our rank list until after the match, which is at the end of next week.
astral projections, advice, derision would all be particularly influential at this time. feel free.

all i can say is that i love you people! touchy-feely karma coming at you from san francisco. xo
Good luck with the match. What specialty are you going into?
Thanks for the good wishes! The rank list is in, and we're CD1 around here.
I hear 9 is a lucky number. And will likely also be spelled I-U-I.
In the end, I decided family medicine. I still want to do work with children's mental health, and I know it's a blow to both salary and autonomy (vs. psychiatry), but I'm sure it's where, in the end, I'll be happiest.
Match day is in a week. . .
Good luck with the match. I am a 3rd year medicine resident and lesbian mom to 2 amazing girls. We had one baby during med school and one during residency and are currently trying. I love finding all of these lesbian-doctor-moms!
Hi Jess, thanks for stopping by.
Best wishes to you with trying for a third child! exciting.
